A Very Famous Restaurant…Queso Blanco Dip, The Best White Cheese Dip

This recipe was sent into me by a reader: Marietta Georgia of Washington DC. She writes:

My son used to work in a restaurant and he gave me this white cheese dip recipe because I love this dip.

This is the very best dip you will ever eat. Just like in the restaurants in and around Atlanta Georgia. I cannot get this dip in DC restaurants…

Best White Cheese Dip

• 1 cup cheese (monterey, Asadero or Chihuahua), shredded
• 4 ozs green chilies, chopped and drained
• 1/4 cup half and half
• 2 Tbsp. onions, finely chopped
• 2 tsp. ground cumin
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
• 1 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Place all ingredients into double broiler,and stir over medium heat and cook until melted. Serve with tortilla chips.
